Photographer’s Note

Milagrosong Pansit - the miraculous noodles (pansit bihon)the location is Pulilan, Bulacan. Catholic Feast of the "Birhen Ina ng Biglang Awa" (in literal english translation "Virgin of Sudden Mercy") - in the picture the parishoners are asking a bit of the cooked "pansit" - which was said to have miraculous benefits for any ailments. Everybody wants a piece of it - i even took some for myself (1 plastic bag -about 200 grms) then shared with the household. I dont expect anything - we only hoped. other items they're giving are miraculous oil, vegetables and sweet rice. Anyway its a bit fun being stuck under those aggresive hands. :)

I think this is an interesting shot. At first I thought it was too blurry but looking at what's going on in the picture, I'd say the blurrines gives it an action kind of feeling. Movement and comotion. The blur works well I think. It is difficult to look at the pic for too long. For me at least. I feel like my head is starting to spin. Ha. So I gues once again that means it works. Thanx Dennise
