Samurai protective helmet and scary bushy moustache.

Taken at Hirado Castle, through display cabinet. On photoshop I had to tilt the image slightly, and move my reflection as best as I could from the photo.

Hi Paul,

First of all, I'll say what I think about this shot... it is a little dull. But don't let that put you off -- I think you've done a very good job with what you had to work with -- a highly static museum piece behind glass (which wreaks havoc with AF ;).

As sirhill says, the composition is good; I'm glad you left the "natural" frame, although if you've corrected the perspective, why not correct the lens so the casing is straight?

All-in-all, well done ;)
