Winter Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

Finally I got the time to do something else than work & school. It had been very nice weather for about 4 days, very cold in the night and lots of sunshine on the day. Great conditions to capture nice sunsets in the evening. On the last beautifull evening we had, I drove very quickly to this place which I like a lot.

It's a place with an old farm, sheeps and a old shack. Surrounded by great old tree's. But at that time it was too late to let see what was underneath the bushes. So I took my favourite kind of picture, Sunset and a silhoute. The other objects will follow if I got the time and if the conditions are good! ;)!

Nice shot at a good time of the day, well done. leef je trouwens een jaar terug of heb je deze foto vorig jaar januari gemaakt? Dit is zeker het Noord Willemskanaal net boven Marsdijk.

Mooie winterplaatje. De ondergaande zon geeft mooie kleuren aan de hemel. De reflectie op het ijs ziet er ook goed uit. Prima werk!

Hij is weer schitterend, ondanks het naar links weglopende water. Prachtige warme kleuren en een mooie vlakvulling. Zo zie ik de Dokkumer Ee het liefst, met een laagje ijs om over teschaatsen. Het geheel geeft me een heel warm gevoel ondanks de buitentemperatuur.
Fraai.

Very beautiful shot there. I especially love the colors of the sunlight shining through the naked trees. Wonderful sky-line.
