Here's a good exemplar of the old "pasteleiras". This bike belongs to an old man that was harvesting nearby his small crop of corn. Nothing special about the shooting. Was in auto mode.

David, this is a delightful composition. I love how the shape of the tree follows the direction of the grass. The old bicycle in the shade and fading summer surroundings make a nice "rest stop" for the eye. But I would call it "still life with bicycle" :)

I also liked the shape of the tree and I simply think that the place is really a worthy one for a rest stop;u should drive further afterwards:-)
