Photographer’s Note
Hello to all TE-friends.
There's a new post from my Rajasthan-serie.
Devendra gave me the idea for showing it to you, he also has a shot here of Birla Mandir at night.
This is such a wonderful temple, you can see every reflection like a mirror on the polished marble.
The Laxmi Narayan is located in the South of Jaipur, and was built by the Birla family, which is a major industrialist family of India. This is why, the temple is also called the 'Birla Mandir'. It is situated quite close to the Moti Doongri fort, which was converted to a small palace by Ram Singh II and Gayatri Devi.
Keeping in mind the secular nature of the country, the temple has three domes, which represent different approaches to religion. It is a beautiful white marble temple, which seems to glow at night.
The Birla Mandir in Jaipur attracts many tourists and devotees every year. The temple is very crowded during the festivals as Hindus come from all over the state and country to pay their respect to the Lord. Next time you have a holiday, come to Jaipur and visit the Birla Mandir, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi (Goddess of Wealth).

Hi Wishnu
The superb architectural temple and you have captured it nicely and gracefully. The devotees walking around the temple provided a motion of activity and moreover the clear blue sky posed a striking constrast.
You needed to level the image a little, pal.

Hello Sabine,
This architectural beauty is very well captured!
Good point of view giving a fine angle on the building, great textiures in the stone walls...
I like the human activity in front, in this fine dynamic composition!
Greetings,

Hi wishnu,
excellent point of view with that wide angle view. The human movement is indeed very complementary to this beautiful and dramatic shot.
The sky is very good and the details are very fine.
It is well seen here.
Regards,
Foozi
