Early morning in October Photo

Photographer’s Note

Early morning.
-4C, and our first heavy frost this year, 2005.
The mist was lingering,
and made nice backdrops for the colourful trees.
Taken in Stockholm county,
on one of the pretty islands outside Norrtelje.
The archipelago round Stockholm is extensive,
and gives wonderful opportunity for photography.

A very good picture that could be a little bigger in pixel size for all of us to appreciate better. The mist behind the tree seems touchable, as if we could really grab a piece of it. The soil (with its small plants) has the classical look of a frozen morning.

You got frost earlier than Southern Finland! Great mix of fog, frost and low light. I would have targeted a little more to right, leaving the cow off-centre. I also wonder if the cow would turn if you waited a little longer.
