Photographer’s Note
Monument Valley resides in the Navajo Nation,
it is frequently used as a background for magazine and films, especially westerns movie. Monument Valley has magnificent scenery with huge mesas and delicate pinnacles in dramatic formations on a flat desert plain. These formations are the monuments, their red colors standing out in sharp contrast against a deep blue sky.
This shot was taken from Artists Point looking north, you can see, Mitten Butte (front), Brigham's tomb, The King on his Throne,
Castle Butte, Bear and Rabbit, and Stagecoach.
Regards
Paolo

Cool shot, I like the red tinge in the photo. However looks as if the photo needs to be straightened up a touch as it appears to be on an angle..

Great composition Paolo and very sharp. The white clouds liven up the sky to add a additional dimension to the composition. Your colours are great as well. Well done!

ciao, Fabio.

I'm not wild about the black frame Paolo, but the photo is quite lovely. It is at once sharp and well saturated but the bright light is handled well, allowing us to see details in the clouds without over exposure. The composition would be improved, at least to my eye, if the monument in the foreground were set farther to the left within the frame with space between it and the distant elements on the right. That would have required moving some distance to the right. I've no idea whether that was possible. Mention is made above about "straightening" the image. The diagonal at the bottom left creates the feeling this is tilted, though I'm not certain such is the case. This is one of the challenges of presenting an image that doesn't have a clear reference point for determining true vertical or horizontal. We simply do the best we can. This is fine work. Welcome to TE.

E' sempre bello rivedere Monument Valley!!
Benvenuto in TE, bravo, ciao!

Bonjour Paolo,
