Photographer’s Note
This woman took her pet monkey out for a day on the beach on beautiful Lake Michigan in Glen Arbor, Michigan. The monkey's name was Gregory. "It's really more like a child than a pet," the woman remarked. Quite a jumpy little fellow, too. Wouldn't hold still for a moment!
This photo bears a striking resemblance to a photo I took a year ago in nearly the exact same spot: this kid with a ferret. Strange people, strange pets, strange situations... Enjoy.
