Photographer’s Note
I took this shot in Peliatan Temple in Bangli, Bali. This week is Galungan, a religious holiday for Balinese Hindu. There are many big ceremonies (although in Bali, there's ALWAYS a ceremony somewhere).
The kid (and other people here) was attending the morning Galungan ceremony. After the ceremony there will be a Barong (some kind of evil dragon, played by two men) coming down from the temple to the townsfolk's houses "eating" offerings that's already been prepared in front of the house.
I took this picture with ultrawide lenses to give the temple hall a wider-than-life effect, and I also want the people walking to have a weird-looking distortion.
