After about a year and a half's hiatus from TrekEarth, I am glad to be back!

Last October (2004) it was my great pleasure to spend a month in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, with my dad. This photo was taken in the city of Ongole, early one thursday morning. This sow and her piglet were on their way to a morning's feed. This picture was taken fairly close to the city's center. It is a very different world to the one I live in here in Florida, or the one I grew up in (Ontario, Canada), but I absolutely loved it, pigs, pollution and all!

One remarkable thing about this trip, I have suffered from asthma since I was about 8 years old. From the day I arrived in India till this very day, I have not had an asthma attack, and I have rarely needed to use my medicine. I don't know what happened, but India will forever have a warm spot in my heart!
