Photographer’s Note

Minimal - 3 elements to a photo.
Sand, cloud and rainbow.
Going on with my travelogue about my trip along Espirito Santo state with my Trekearth friend Felipe Souza .
We´ve started a new theme, so that you can see our pictures alltogether.
Sky carefully filtered with NI, over selected areas, to preserve the clouds.
Taken at Itaúnas dunes . Sand lightened by early morning sun, in a rainy morning.

Você foi até lá para pegar seu Mensalão?... digo pote de ouro?
Lindo... composição muito boa. O céu ficou ótimo. As cores do arco também.
Textura da areia... tá tudo muito bom.

aaah! Carmen a sublime landscape - just wonderful - a little piece of magic that sill excites something really quite 'primitive' within me - really one of my favourites amongst the landscapes here on TE.

Brilliant landscape capture. Love the way you got the rainbow to end exactly in the small hill. The deep dark grey sky fits very nicely to the red sand. Great job.

P.S J'aime juste pas trop le cadre que tu a mis sur la photo. un cadrage plus simple aurait fait ressortir encore plus la beauté de la photo...(WS)

Grande foto, Carmem.
Um belo momento de excelente combinação de luz, o negro das nuvens pesadas e a cor das dunas. Eu gostaria de ver um pouco mais de solo, mas respeito sua opção de priorizar o céu e as nuvens carregadas.
O arco-íris é, naturalmente, o ponto forte da foto, muito bem posicionado no enquadramento e atrás do montinho. Deu um brilho relevante à foto.
A moldura poderia ser mais simples... a foto já é muito boa... mas isso também é uma questão muito pessoal.
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho.

Hello Carmem,
Beautiful colors and great composition with this small yellow strip at the bottom that contrasts with the dark, grey sky. The cloud and the rainbow are awesome... very dramatic! I love it!

Olá Carmen, eu gostei das cores, e do arco-íris, dá aquela impresão de pote de ouro lá naquele monte!
Só achei que tem muito céu! Eu fiz um workshop...pena que a foto ficou um pouco pequena, mas dá para ter idéia do que digo!

Great work catching these elements together and in a very harmonic situation. Very nice the contrast between the sand and the clouds, connect by the rainbow. A beautiful picture with very warming colours.

You still got a preference for incongreous landscapes captured like paintings and this one if you look only at the clouds you almost got the feeling that they are still drifting on, nicely textured clouds in contrast with the very sober and warm colored small piece of land with the rainbow just above the well placed wooden sticks and small hill.
An outstanding one lately in your gallery, always a pleasure to come by and compare your achievements.

wow, what a beautiful photo, the rainbow adds so much beauty against the dark sky, and the bright foreground is in excellent contrast with the sky. A superb shot.

lindíssima imagem. A cor do solo em dourado faz um belo contraste com o céu escuro e as nuvens cheias de detalhes. O arco-íris é para acabar de arrebatar a visão. perfeita imagem
