Photographer’s Note

Taken at the mouth of the Barron River just north of Cairns in far north Queensland. There is a long sand bar that juts out into the ocean for hundreds of metres. When you are on the end of the sand bar you can look back to the shore and view the sunset as if you were viewing it from the ocean. This is the second shot of the sunset. The first was much earlier and indicated that more glory was on its was. It arrived.

Very nice picture! nice timing to capture picture.. I like the border too..contrast between black and yellow(or golden) is amazing.. keep it up

it's a little empty but i liked. could use some more light in the front part !
