Devon Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a shot of the Devon countryside, just as the sun had disappeared. It is looking towards Milton Abbot.

I didn't have a tripod to hand, so rested the camera on a gate.

Slightly adjusted contrast to bring out the colours and ran through NeatImage (have finally worked out how to use it!!). Cropped in Picasa2.

Bonjour Vicky,
I find the shot interesting mainly because of :
1° the nice gradation of colours in the sky ;
2° a nice 'skyline' with these trees.
However I find there is no need of additional frame here. But that is just a detail and does not deal with the shot :o)

this cold be a scene from "Out of Africa"...i like the colours and the general aspect of the picture..a panoramic view would have been nice too..

Hi Vicky. Beautiful golden colors behind the natural silhouettes in this nice countryside panorama. The "ultra-widescreen" cropping was a good choice for this one and the run through NeatImage resulted in a nice soft and clean look.
