Photographer’s Note
At long last we had some sun again after a number of dull, overcast days. The weather made this bush stand out in full autumnal splendour proudly presenting its multitude of fluffy downs.
In summer, this fairly big bush - situated on a slight slope and facing due south - is covered in tiny yellowish-white flowers and is a haven for all kinds of small creepy-crawlies and flying beasties. I've seen butterflies, hoverflies, other flies, spiders, the occasional darter and any number of little beetles roaming busily around amongst its branches.
Treatment: Crop, clone out a leaf and additional fluff bottom left, contrast +10, saturation +10, USM, resize, NeatImage to smoothen the sky.

love the silver against the dark blue, the sed head is beautifully sharp, only minnor nigle the left had stem seems a little blurred, was it in the shadow of the removed leaf?
Still a very nice picture.

Lovely - the blue looks like Provia F100 sky, the fluffy stuff is great - beautiful and dof spoton. Well done - you deserve more sunlight!!

I am sure I just saw this moving gently. I particularly like the way that the fluff is sharp yet retains its fluffiness.
