I went to a very poor neighborhood in Pasay City with a friend of mine who was bringing her Grandmother flowers for Mothers Day.

I had never been to a place that poor before; we had to get a ride on a small railcar with a bench seat, which the kids pushed along the rail tracks, to get through the neighborhood; it was a very unique ride and I was enjoying everything that day, as the people smiled & waved, etc.

When we got to the house, we went up to the 2nd floor to sit & chat with the elders, and I happened to notice the kids accross the street calling out to me.

Some kids really like their picture being taken, while others are so shy...

The boy in the door wanted to come outside when he saw my camera; the girl inside was too shy & tried slamming the door shut while the boy was struggling to open it.

What a cat-&-mouse game that was.
