Photographer’s Note

Just an usual shot of a well knwon postcard from Florianópolis City, the Hercílio Luz Bridge. This bridge was built in a similar style to the San Francisco's famous Golden Gate, but one decade earlier (1922-1926). It was projected by North American engineers (Robinson and Steinmann) and it is closed for traffic since 1982. The bridge was in risk of falling until 1997, but now it is part of the historical and artistic patrimony of the city.
