Photographer’s Note
Summer deck chairs out on a dock on Okanagan Lake after a brisk rainstorm. The Okanagan Valley is at the North end of the Sonoran desert that stretches from Canada thoughout the USA to the Baja in Mexico. The dry airid climate in the Okanagan results in hot dry summers. It doesn't rain often, but when it does it is hard and fast.
Scanned B/W film print, 100-300 telephoto lens with a wide apature focused on the chairs.

Lovely shot! I'm a big fan of symmetry, so this photo is one I deffinately enjoy. I like how the chairs are vacant and the ground is wet- it looks peaceful. My only problem is with the light on the porch, but thats only because I'm a nut about things being equally balanced. Great job

Great symethry. Great idea.
I agree with the rosiegirl about the lamp. I would suggest to use the clone tool and erase it!!! Or I could make a workshop on this one... :)

Nice composition but I'd like to see a bit more contrast and sharpness.
