Photographer’s Note
This is Île-des-Soeurs, or Nuns' Island, on a weekday morning. This island is in the middle of the St. Lawrence River. The center of Montreal is perched on the north bank of this river, and we look north in this shot at some of the Montreal office building towers in the distance. There is a driving range with about 50 stalls and an excellent clubhouse and restaurant on the north end of this island.
PP: increased color sat, contrast & brightness a bit, cropped.

Hi Matt,
A very innovative shot - from the back of the guys playing golf. A very different POV and a good view of the city skyline. Good contrast between the green of the grass and the faded sky. Nice and sharp

Hi Matt, This looks a very good place for golf. If you hit really hard, you could break a glass in a high rise building :D
A very nice captured of the swing and the beautiful environment. A very well taken picture with clarity, depth, and sharpness.

HI Matt! This is nice & effective combination: these golfers against the backdrop of downtown Montreal and sandwiched between grass. A very well composed and well defined capture. Good job!
Best regards from Rotterdam,
Bert.

Very interesting and well-spotted scene from the urban driving range, Matt. Certainly an innovative way to present the skyline, and the two people are well embedded in the composition. The saturated springtime greenery makes for a delightful foreground. Well seen and captured.

Curious this framework here to spot out these two people playing golf towards the skyline of the city in the background, your colors are very good here, a natural green grass and misty background with good texturing in the sky.

Hello Learned Friend. As Apache notes, an innovative shot. The action is well captured. It almost appears as if the golfer is about to shoot his ball into the cityscape. The clouds provide further drama and either the lady is having a bad hair day or the breeze is blowing hard. Well seen and executed. Regards.

Hi Matt,
An unusual but refreshing POV. Beautifully timed with one just about to hit while the other having completed the swing. It lets us wonder where the ball goes. I also love the pale buildings in the background. It makes it more interesting instead of an open space. Well done!! Regards and all the best.

Hi Matt,
Great graphical scene of modern life. Not the usual place for a golf course. But with this skyline behind and the trellis-work in front a very interesting picture.
