Photographer’s Note
This is my 100th post (not counting one early repost).
This is the view from a bridge of the floating markets in Damnoen Saduak, the most visited in Thailand. I have visited these floating markets a couple of times but for some reason I did not have much photos of the place, until my recent trip back.
I usually spent a night at the village and wake up early to see the build up of the markets in the early hours.
-----
Note: My usual PP. I adjusted the light curves to reduce the light reflection in the water so it would not overwhelm the scene.

Congratulations on your 100th post Tai. Very well executed daily life shot here, with a lot interesting detail. I'm particularly interested to see this, since it was originally on our agenda, but we got stuck an extra night in Chiang Mai, with all the trains back to Bangkok being full on the last day of the holiday. Well, nice place to get stuck.

Wonderful composition. Nice and exotic daily life shot. Lots of details in your picture and it is nice and sharp. Is the lady at the right cooking banana chips? Congrats on your 100th.

Nice compo here Tai. I like the way you positioned the two boats next to the hat-ladened one. Great colors too. I hope you enjoyed your trip here.

Didn't make it to the floating market myself when I was in Thailand, seemed like a bit of a touristy place to me, but you've managed to pull of a nice shot here. I really like how the hats balance the two women as well as the color which are nice and rich. Good work.

Congratulations for your anniversary, and a nice choice with this well-captured scene from the floating market. A lot of delightful details to be found here, with a good inclusion of the folks preparing the food, and a nice graphism added by the hats in the area at the right. Well done, Tai.

Hi Tai,
Congratulations on your 100th post !
You have chose an beautiful daily life view to celebrate, this photo is well framed and shows great clarity. Also the hats on the right add a commercial dimension and nicely balance the cooking scene.
Have a nice day,

Hello Tai, congratulations with your 100th!
I prefer this over your latest, you know I like your dark colours, and the other one is too light, and besides, I like this one better! This really lokks deliscious and your PoV is great, we can see the most of it this way. I like the hats on the right. I think I would have cropped a little more from the top, so that the green boat would be more or less out of the frame.
Hmmm, gebakken banaan

These markets seem to be a never ending source of nice images. And this is one of them. Nice POV and composition. The fact that the image is cut into two parts, but the one at the left has much richer details makes us look to it and prevent us loosing the focus. Nice colors and exposure although some more details could be brought from the shadows and midtones.
