Photographer’s Note
Blagnac has been in the news a lot in the past few weeks because it is the home of Airbus and their new A380 super-jumbo jet.
One would expect Blagnac to be a modern suburb of Toulouse, a bedroom community, with little character. But the village of Blagnac is a very pleasant surprise. There is a wonderful blend of older traditional houses and shops, lovingly restored, and new residential areas with tree lined streets and a family atmosphere.
Here is one of the older buildings with the red brick construction typical of this area and the striking blue shutters, which caught my eye.

Nice balanced photo Peter. Great colours and sharpness. There's a bit of a tilt that needs correcting, but that's easy enough to fix. I kind of wish there was someone in one of the windows though to break up the symettry a bit (but this is a personal preference for having people in my shots!.
Cheers,

I love photographs of windows and doors for some reason, I must not be the only one. The blue stands out so well against the brick and all the white of the windows. Well done.
