Photographer’s Note

This is taken in a small town close to Bad Kissingen. It is an extremely old house and has a typical medieval German arcitechture. On the left side of the house, it was very interesting for me to see the wooden columns that were designed basically to hold the house together. They filled the openings between the columns by using a special material that would provide insulation.
Before seeing this up close, I was thinking that all the nice colors on the faces of the medieval type structures were paints. I was wrong, because they were wooden columns used to build the structure..

Belle photo, les couleurs sont très belles, le cadrage est un peu moins bien!
J'aime beaucoup l'atmosphère que dégage ces vieilles maisons.

I like a building with age and character. This one is very good with the exposed brick and shown with the golden tones. I like it!

One often wonders how many generations have been born and raised in these old, old buildings. I love the colours, so earthy, and the composition to focus on the doors and windows. I also like how you have followed the scene around the corner and down the road! As for the buildings, as they peel away with age, they show more of their infrastructure, and their secrets. Well done, Serhat!
