Photographer’s Note
The morningsun breaks throught on the other side and the first rays softly touch the slopes of the earth...
The horse, stood like this all night while sleeping (i think) opens his sleepy eyes and welcomes the day. He hopes it's sunday so he could stay like this for the rest of the day...
The sheep, stoot up like running on solar energy and starts to graze the fresh grass. Everday is a working day for her, she's has got to make meat for the Kebab that silly blond photographer loves to eat on sunday evening...

Hi Jorrit. Nice to see another of your characteristicly novel compos after such a gap. Great use of empty space, and an amusing note as usual.

Hee Jorrit, nice photo with alot of nothing... and of course a great note.
Even wat anders, een Elmarit 135/2.8 is dat een lens die de moeite waard is?

Oh I love this minimalist beauty! The subtle play of light on the horse's chest...a great shot!

I thought I had already seen the same shot from you, but in fact it was a completely different one even though taken probably at the same hours.
Everything works here except perhaps the scan noise that I'll put on poor equipment due to too much money spent on substances aiming to keep you quiet. Perhaps the last pill was a bit overdosed as it has been almost months we didn't hear from you... or maybe was it the consequences of the fascinating lip surgery you're proud to show us in your intro photo. :D
I first thought Angelina Jolie was coming down in trekearth but remembered she didn't have curly hair... I can't wait for what's next on your program, Jorrit, breast surgery for fun perhaps?

The horse, the sheep and the blond kebab. This is the title of the next "oscarized" dutch movie coming to conquer Hollywood. I can imagine you at dawn with those two fellows. Did you open your eyes like the horse? Did you taste the fresh grass like the sheep?
So you're posting again, which means that either you escaped from the specialized institution where you were put to rest, either they decided to provide an internet connection to calm down their most delirious patients.

Hey Dutch fool! Nice to see you! Great intro pic again, I wouldn't have seen it if Luko hadn't made such an apt remark about it ;-)
Very nice and empty frame with a beautiful intense blue color, the light on the horse is very nice, and the sheep balances it.
(If that horse is used as a working horse still, tell it to keep moving a bit on it's day off, otherwise it'll surely have big problems on mondaymorning, there's even a sort of syndrom called after that, maandagmorgenziekte, and it has to do with melkzuur, but then in a very severe way. For you, some inside information).
I like it, Jorrit!

jajajajajaja!
Jorrit
your notes were really fun, I liked them...you may change your dietary habits...so the working sheep does not have to worry anymore...
Nice picture, I would like to know if you cropped it or just saw it that way from the very beginning...the sky has a strange blue tone, seems more a screen from a cinema...the composition is simple but nice
welcome back dear friend, keep on taking the blue pills and give a rest to your swollen lips...drink from the glass and not from the bottle for at least two months time... :D
