Photographer’s Note

Chefchaouen, ciudad donde reina el color. Fundada en 1471, esta considerada como ciudad santa del Islam, y donde su acceso estuvo prohibido para los cristianos. En la ciudad, situada en la vertiente de dos montañas, habitan una mezcla de descendientes hispanos, moriscos y bereberes. En 1958, en Chefchaouen, y ante el sultán Mohammed V, fue arriada la última bandera española, con motivo del traspaso de la soberanía del protectorado español.

Hola Jose, I like the subject and the simplicity of colors. For some strange reasons, I am not too happy with the two doors. It may be possible that the big door with the cat, could it make a wonderful composition. I think that two doors is distracting ...But that is my personal opinion. Buen trabajo

Es una aportación de los días de semana santa?
Has plasmado unos azules preciosos, y una luz fantástica que está presente aunque casi no haya sombras.
Me gusta especialmente la puerta de la derecha, está entreabierta y el gato ahí está genial.

Hola Jose Manuel, Muy bonitos colores y detalles. No hay como perderse en las antiguas ciudades marroquies. Le doy la razon a Jorge, pienso que podrias cortar la foto justo a la izuierda de la caja gris con el numero 681. Saludos

Really cool picture. I like the colour of the door and the light. The fact that one door is a bit open makes the whole picture! To make it even more perfect I would have prefered something more to balance the picture to the left, but it is very good already.

couple of blue doors.. i love those blue colors most..Did u use neat image to soften the photo.. i could find some smoothness at the bottom of the white wall..

Bonita composición José Manuel, sencilla y muy bien compensada, el suave azul, casi verdoso, enmarcado con las blancas paredes da mucha luminosidad a la imagen. Muy bién capturada. El toque negro del gatito, es perfecto, lo del "Pseee pseeee" de Oscar, tiene toda la razón!
Un abrazo desde Barcelona.
PD: por cierto, no habrás estado en Marruecos con "mlu821", tiene una foto de la misma puerta y con el mismo gato!!!

wow , I love this blue ! nice composition, this black cat ( or rabbit ) adds life to the image. nice framing, good textures and contrast between the blue doors and the white walls.

Hi Jose - I like the blue tones and the cat being there, all very nice. I tried to get one with a dog in Tanger, but it moved away just before I got a chance.

Hi Jose. I see you like blue colors and I also see that you've developed your photography a lot since you joined TE. I love your pictures and they all have one thing incommon: great color dept and clearness. Please send me a msg and tell me what post editing program you use and what your big secret is ;). Also I would like to know what camera you use, that coolpix doesn't seem to me to be good enough for pictures like this one! Thanks
