The colours of Spring Photo

Photographer’s Note

Today is the last day of winter, tomorrow (20/03) between 1 and 2 pm the Spring season will arrive, and with it, all the beautiful colours of the flowers and nature.

From winter time, we have seen, here in TE, a lot of snow fields, snow landscapes and city views, now is time to begin to show them in this new period of time full of life and light. Lets going to enjoy them as much as possible.

This field belongs to a maize field, and as you can see, the poppies have invaded it, giving this red spots mixed with the great green background. I did it last year at the middle of Spring time, in the “Anoia” region of the Lleida province, near the village of Calaf, just in the center of Catalunya.

Quina foto de postal ! sempre he vulgut fer una foto com aquesta ... però a ciutat és difícil :-D

Te uns colors forts, brillants, que impacten; també m'agrada que la foto està dividida en tres distàncies i tres temes (això deu ser una fixació meva, és lo primer que miro...), m'agrada molt el desenfoc de la majoria de zones.

Penso que has fet molt bé en desenfocar el primer terme i enfocar una mica més enrera -el grup de tres o quatre flors-, però trobo a faltar més flors enfocades, ja que el gruix principal de flors és el de primer terme.
Vaja rotllo t'he clavat ! però de debó, és molt maca, me la possaria de fons de pantalla relaxant i alegre. Gràcies!

Hi Jaume, very nice photo and low perspective. I like the shallow depth, it brings out and separates the few flowers from the multitude. The red and green colours are very appealing and the light is very nice. Well done! Have a nice weekend!

Ooohh que colorido Jaume una fantástica toma de este bello panorama, es toda una acuarela colmada de paz y de un pulcro silencio. Amor y paz para todos…..ale ale ya sobra tanta palabrería…Una interesante foto que has captado con una buena perspectiva y llena de vida :p

Pero bueno ¿Qué le pasa a Jaume que está tan primaveral, será que ya tiene la sangre alterada? Al ver la foto pensé que sería de tu pueblo pero veo que no... Me gusta el punto de vista que has escogido, a ras de las flores, por supuesto los rojos y verdes son muy bonitos, yo le hubiese dado un poco más de contraste a ver que salía, me gusta también el telón verde oscuro que se ve al final de la foto. Bueno Jaume, que esta primavera sólo nos traiga cosas buenas.

Una interesante y bella fotografía Jaume, me gusta mucho las diferentes capas alternativas de verdes y rojos y el buen uso de la profundidad de campo.
Resulta chocante como hace pocos días veiamos como nevaba y ahora vamos en mangas de camisa, mas que la primavera parece que ya tenemos aquí el verano.

this is such a beautiful composition, lovely, relaxing and cheerful colors (in my biased view they are more colors of portuguese flag than of spring:), nice light and great DOF.

wow, somehow I had missed this shot before. great colors and beautiful composition. I like the low POV you chose to shoot here.
Interesting with the gap of greens between each row of poppies.

¡Tiro muy agradable y romántico, Jaume!
El contraste entre la hierba y las amapolas verdes es magnífico y colorea la distribución hecha muy cuidadosamente, en capas.
Una composición realmente buena y se apropia tan para la estación del resorte,
