Moléson (SW view) Photo

Photographer’s Note

A less current view of the Moléson, the fetish mountain of all "gruyériens" (usually it's a North sight). It is on the right, the
largest "piece". One can guess the arrival of the telpher carrier. It is also the highest mountain of the western side of the "Sarine", on the Swiss plate (delimited by the basic molasse...). 2002 meters.
Pict made on the Niremont, above Semsales. Winter conditions in this (hmmm) early spring, typical and not changed blue luminosity!!! The eye saw the same, I swear...

If I understand your note, you mention the blueish tone - I see the same blue tone in many of my snow pictures, and I think its really there - the human eye tends to tune it out when we stand there, but its really there in most cases. Beautiful scene.

belle carte postale qui serait bien vendue en bas des pistes...pour rappeller les bons moments des sports d'hiver...j'aime bien les lignes des sapins qui délimitent certaines parties de la montagne...beau rendu du blanc et du bleu...bien vu...amicalement BI

Bonjour Elvio,
Jolie photo de montagne, j'aime bien cet angle qui donne au Moleson un aspect imposant par rapport a la chaine a sa gauche. Par contre il me semble qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de neige, ou bien a t elle ete soufflee ?
