Photographer’s Note
A mobile, very simple, which turns. Vevey, on the place of the market.
The fact is I'll go once again down in Vevey and write down all what is important about this "mobile".
Wait was quite long (so to have the chance to "take" at least two gulls). The Romans based their omens on the probability of the passage (or not) of birds in a delimited perimeter of the sky..., I made it more or less the same ; -)

hi Elvio
It is an interesting shot and I'd like to know more about this gadget. Could you please make your explanations a bit more detailed and simpler to understand?
what exactly this thing functions as? who builds it and why? and explain the Roman usage of it more.
Thanks.

I really like the intricacy of this photo so many gears and colors against a very blue sky. I would crop on the bottom some but that is simply my personal preference. The gulls are a nice addition ans they seem to be flying away from this seemingly crazy contraption.

Bravo
