From my window #8: New moon Photo

Photographer’s Note

Moon, Venus over São Paulo, from my window.
Tones produced white white balance set to fluorescent light
I used the BSS (best shot selector) since I don´t have a remote control to my Nikon.

Another São Paulo´s city skyline view, going on with my personal theme: from my window .
No PS but levels adjustments and USM after reducing noise with NI.
All critiques are welcome.. as usually!!!

I agree %100 this is a decisive moment! a gorgeous sky with a awesome gradient going from dark blue to pinks. good framing of the shot to include the city. most excellent!

Hello Carmen,
Ah, your nice theme again!

Congrats for this new moon since it is quite difficult to see; its position looks strange for a northem hemisphere guy like me because of its position: in the north the Moon will be be vertical and near equator horizontal.

Nice colors and framing.

If I had a view like this from my window, I think I'd become a "stay-at-home"! The color gradation is magnificent! Perhaps the only slight improvement would be to crop a bit of the sky so as to apply the famous "rule of thirds." I wish I knew how to make your photo into a lifesized poster to glue onto my window...ha!
