Photographer’s Note
Guizhou province is home to a great number of non-Han minorities, ie Miao, Bouyei, Dong and others. Several 'minority festivals' are held throughout the year in Kaili where minorities living in China dress up in traditional dress and parade around the city. This particular festival drew a crowd of over 50,000 people.

Very nice Adam. I like the way you composed the image and the shallow DOF.

The subjects' expression, dress and your composition all keep this shot engaging.

I like this image a lot, for the strong subject. I might like to see the point of view shifted, so the foreground girl's face doesn't overlap the other girl. Her face against the overcast sky would accentuate her distinctive profile. But I like this set-up too. I just wish the tip of her hair wasn't cropped off the top of the frame. Good job.

Excellent potrait. You captured the subject expression very nicely. I also like the contrast between subject dark costume against background subject bright green.

Very fresh and engaging subject, where I specially like the harmony between the color contrast and the affirmative depth of field.
