Photographer’s Note
40cm of snow in 3 hours, taken at West 5th and Stone Church road, passers by helping push a car spinning its tires in a snow bank.
Taken with Nikon CP 2100, I was reluctant to bring out my CP 8800 in the blowing snow and cold that day.
Thought black and white was the best way to go with this photo, as it pretty much looked b/w from the start. Cropped in Picasa.

Hi, very common view. We had the same situation week ago. Your shot is good. I can see the efforts of people. As shot itself, that big tree and house is well placed so that main object can still be at the middle and the other car gives balance. Good worked in my mind.

Welcome to TE Phillip! As a native of Minnesota in north central United States I can relate to this scene. I've done more than my share of navigating in heavy snow and getting stuck! I was wise enough, to leave Minnesota many years ago and now live in California where the only snow is in the mountains where it belongs... ;-)
This image needs a bit of contrast to bring out details. I did a workshop that you can check out. See what you think.
I'll share with you the secret to enjoying this website. The more you invest of yourself in the process, the more you will get back. There are wonderful folks here who share images as well as their skills behind the camera and at the computer. If you wish to learn about both, you will surely be met with good will and support. Enjoy yourself!

Nice picture. Images like this show some sort of friendship and understanding of other people problems. If only everybody would be that helpful. Nice shot, title and note. Welcome to TE!
