Photographer’s Note
In the final days of our tour in Ireland, we stopped near this beautiful lake in Connemara. It was a cloudy day, but the light in Ireland is such that even when the weather is not at it's best, it gives a special kind of glow to the scenery. In fact the colours of the clouds add to the beauty of the scene.

Hi Joan, this is a lovely scenery, lovely hills and rocks surrounding a beautifull lake, but I am afraid the quality is not very good. IMO colours are oversaturated, image looks soft.

Lovely rendering of this famous lake under typically Irish weather conditions, Joan.
Due to the indeed a bit soft focus and the saturated colours (not too much in this case IMHO) is has a faity tale like quality to it which I lik very much.

Ireland seems to be a cloudy country... hehehe It's very beautiful! Your pictures under this kind of light are really very good. I wish I could learn how to do that... hehehe
