Photographer’s Note

One more day was over for this old good fishing boat...Now resting in the port of Balchik under the warm light ofthe setting sun...Rusty and weather worn but still fighting proudly for the bread of its crew!
In the background a small part of the town with its famous white hills.

Καλοί χρώμα, οξύτητα, έκθεση, pov & κορεσμός. Συμπαθώ το συγχρονισμό μεταξύ του σημείου του εδάφους στο υπόβαθρο, & την πλώρη της βάρκας.

Good color, sharpness, exposure, pov & saturation. I like the synchronization between the point of land in the background, & the prow of the boat.

What a deep coloring and a good composition full spot on the boat with the orange and through the boat a nice view on the landscape to the water.

The colours of the fishers boat on the forground its very sharp, the background with the pier, and the houses in the sun that against the colourful background, together with the blue sky is wonderful George!

A nice addition to your bulgarian boat series. Nice composition and depth, the colours are great, particularly the dark blue of the sea. Well captured George!

Very well detailed ship, in perfect colors. Good situation you took here, with a perspectice. Interesting too for the tool we can see at front, to use lines probably, good point of view on the coast.

Stupendous saturated colors in this one, George, well enhanced by the angle of the sun you got. And of course the boat is used in a fine way to frame the shoreline and buildings behind. Good DOF and sharpness, very nicely done.

Very good photograph. The colors and the light are so good here. The sharpness is also done perfectly. I enjoy how the parts of the boat seem to frame the city in the back. The details are good and colorfull on the boat. A very nice photograph.

I like the meeting point of these three contrasting colors - green, orange and b;e. The light is excellent and the POV too. And there is some rust, too. Beautiful one, George.

Great DOF and fantastic colours in fine combination here, George! Actually I have to confess, that seems I have missed to see this boat, as I didn't take any pic of it...So, this makes it really unique for me. I love the beautiful perspective you got of Balchick through the natural framing and the simple details of the old "sea soldier". Excellent capture!

PS: BTW, the boat is from Kavarna, another little sea town, a bit more North of Balchick. Maybe you can read the name yourself - Venera, which means Venus...:-))
