Photographer’s Note
As I am living close to the sea since i was born, fishing boats attracted me since I was a kid. Deep in my soul they created the feeling that they are living beings instead of just wood or any other material...And seems also they have their life...been born...getting slowly older...till they finish it in a sea shore, retiring from the hard working years in rough seas...Like these two in Balchik beach spending the rest of their "lifes" together under the warm sun light in the good days, or under the rainy cloudy sky in the bad ones...Exactly like human beings...
Seems I get a bit romantic today insprited by this scene from Balchik :-)! I hope you like it!

Hi George
Excellent contrast, lighting, color & saturation. The 2 canoes are perfectly located 2/3 of the way down the frame. Great work!

It is amazing how things can tell stories. I feel it is one of the pleasure and task of photography to discover, disclose and share these stories. The art of composition gives a voice to these silent stories. You did nicely here with regard to that task.

Excellent picture of old boats. The subject is simply beautiful and gives a peaceful and a little melancholic feeling. Compo and colors are as usual excellent.

I like it withe tre little breeze on the water and these two beautiful "barques" so detailed tht we have also an information on their parking with the ladder and ropes, typical.
Romantic also, the image given thorough the text. Writing well, photographing well...
Compliments

A very nice catch you made of the boats here, George. The diagonal placement of the boats (and the ropes to which they are tied), and the inclusion of the weeds in the foreground successfully avoid that the photo looks too flat. The deep blue water with its textured surface makes a quite delightful background. Good shot.

Πολλή ωραία ιδέα να τα φωτογραφήσεις ως "δίδυμο" προς το θάνατο! Το φως το βρίσκω κάπως σκληρό. Νωρίς το πρωί έβγαλες την φωτογραφία;

Perfeito George. O angulo e otimo, e o confronto das texturas e cores da agua e da terra são fantasticos.
Saudações.

A novel-like picture, George; telling of a life full of work. Impressing colors contrasting well with the sea!

Hi George, great composition and lighting, looks like warm afternoon sunlight with a bit of a cool breeze blowing. Also a very nice note with interesting thoughts on the symbolism of these boats.
Thanks for sharing!
