Photographer’s Note

It was the third church that was built in Teresina, in 1874.This place was in the past a cemetery of slaves and it was called Jurubeba Hill.
This church is the mark of the division of the northern and the southern districts of the city.

A Igreja São Benedito foi a terceira igreja a ser construída em Teresina, em 1874/1886. O local antigamente era um cemitério de escravos e era chamado Alto da Jurubeba.
A igreja é o marco divisório das zonas sul e norte da cidade.

Olá Maria!
A arquitetura da igreja não é muito rebuscada e é agradável e bonita, principalmente vista desse ângulo, com emoldurada pela árvore cheinha de flores com um colorido belíssimo!
Nitidez, exposição, pdv, profundidade, cores e composição estão excelentes!

bella l'architettura della chiesa, perfettamente inquadrata e ripresa. Splendidi i colori, soprattutto quello dell'albero sulla destra, in maraviglioso contrasto col cielo azzurro.

seu POV ficou muito interessante por sair do comum e registrar a igreja com uma vista de fundo / lateral.
A idéia ficou ainda melhor por você incluir no tema o bonito ipê com parte das flores no chão.

Excelentes cores, com essa árvore dando um toque especial à foto! Interessante a arquitetura dessa igreja, com o fundo assim arredondado. Não me lembro de ter visto uma assim. Bonito trabalho!

This church has rather unusual round windows. I thing the framing is a bit tight here.But I like very much the pink blossoming tree.

curiosa mesmo essa foto, pois geralmente ninguém tira foto de uma Igreja por trás, pois suas fachadas são sempre mais bonitas e atrativas, mas acho que queria aproveitar esse belo Ipê na lateral e fujir do ol frontal. Gostei da foto.

Bonjour mon amie,
je trouve que tu l'as cadré un peu juste cette église, la preuve avec l'arrière coupé. La déformation est aussi un peu embarassante. J'aime beaucoup par contre cette touche bien rosée ce cet arbre en fleurs.

Unusual style of church from this angle,built 135 years ago, I can only imagine the inside could be grand,
The blossom of the cherry tree is a bonus, making lovely colour.The front facade should also be very nice. A little bit tight crop.
I have been off TE a little bit of late.

Acho que o que mais me atraiu na foto nem foi a igreja (e olha que eu adoro igrejas), mas esse ipê? no primeiro plano, que cores lindas e tão florido!
A igreja tem um formato bem diferente e parece ser bem grande, qual o visual interior decorrente dos vitrais?
Tirou mais fotos da árvore?

Hello Maria, lovely old church you have here, I think that beautiful tree for me is the eye catcher, it contrast very well with the cream coloured walls of the church & the blue of the sky. A very lovely, sharp image with excellent colour & detail.

Dear Maria,
it's an interesting point of view presenting the church from this particular angle :) But what strikes me most here is the bright pink tree! It emphasizes the whole scene a lot and also creates a sense of depth.
Very "festive" shot, I should say :)
