Photographer’s Note
Hello friends in TE.
I was reading the critique by Urs on my post Kampong Naga and the quote saying that people in Europe always think that Asia only has blue sky attracted my attention. The image was captured under very dull sky.
I noticed the outside sky was blue so I picked up my camera to prove Urs was right. Spotted this Banyan tree that was chopped off because the roots are making its way underneath the buildings around it. The creeper is somehow alive and well against the sky. I thought this is a nice post to share in TE.
Thanks for viewing and best regards.

Hi Jusni,
a simple image but full of contrast. The green leaves gives the picture its charme.
Jusni, i've seen really many days with heavy rainclouds in Asia and also skies spotted with clouds, like in your picture. When i think about it, there were more cloudy days than sunny ones.

Hello Jusni,
A beautiful blue sky indeed. I like your composition, simple, but it tells a lovely story. Very good composition.

ciao Jusni,
composizione semplice ma di grande effetto.
hai avuto un ottimo colpo d'occhio nell'inquadrare la scena che è pregevole anche per la perfetta definizione.
buona giornata

Hello Jusni,
A simple but most effective composition. The gnarled trunk with its warm tones makes a wonderful contrast with the lovely blue sky and its puffy clouds. The sprouting green leaves are a nice bonus adding some alternative colour. The textures in the trunk are well rendered under a good light.

Hi Jusni
Really this sky is marvelous. The composition with this trunk and the plant in the top is beautiful and very well done.

Salam Jusni,
lovely sky. But on contrary I found it so difficult to get good blue sky and wonderful view like this one.
The clouds too is quite to catch. This one prove you right, but the moment must be right too.
Nice dramatic upright low angle shot.

Foozi

Hi Jusni
A wonderful upward pov & a nice visual statement on natures power to heal & regenerate. The green ivy contrasts well against the blue sky. Tfs!

Hi Jusni
Blue sky is here to stay. So many Europeans told me over the years, you always have sunshine and blue sky. The only thing they acknowledged was that Bangkok and other big cities in Asia have more gray then sunny days. But outside the big cities, there is only sunshine for them. Actually the come only in the best season to Asia, when there is no monsoon.
Your shot is a good example, the nature is supreme e.g. we humans can do what we like, but one day nature takes back what we have stolen from it. Thanks for sharing - well done with fine sharpness, well saturated color hues and high DOF. WEll done
Friendly regards
Urs

Hi Jusni,
I like a lot how you composed this one. It's kind of abstract in the way I see it. The trunk is a nice element and the cloudy blue sky makes its part in the compo. Very original composition, well done!

Hello Jusni,
This is an artistic presentation, quite bold in fact!
It is interesting to see new life rise from an apparently dead log, and the blue sky with fluffy clouds make a fine background for this small wonder of nature...
A fine composition with vivid colours!
