Photographer’s Note

This is the lake near Pravetz city about 55km from Sofia. The early autumn colors and the lake makes the atmosphere very nice. I hope You enjoy!

Hello Philip,

I do not know if you have of also beautiful autumnal colors this year but here on Versailles it is not the case I find… In 2007 the landscape was splendid, a splendid natural painting, the luminosity and the colors are splendid and very pleasant, I like much, it is very releasing, thank you Philip.

Hi Philip,

This photo is looking like a painting. Fallen leafs are adding colour to the photo. Lake, reflection and blue sky are enhancing the beauty of the photo. Nice shot. Congrats.

A really outstanding photo which shows the beauty of autumn very well. The point of view here creates an enormous and attractive depth - and the colours, great!

I love these colours and the shadows, the light in the leaves. For an HDR, this does look reasonably natural. You certainly made a good choice for your composition. A wonderful shot, congratulations.

What a wonderful photograph!
The pov was excellently chosen and the composition is quite effective and successful with very attractive visual results: colors of the trees and leaves, the reflection on the water surface, the perfect placement of all the elements in the frame!
Sharpness, exposure and dof are excellent features in this picture too!

a very nice Autumn scene with the curve of the lake side, to lead the eye on the far end of the scene.I like the perspective,the POV and the yellowish colour of the leafs of the trees.The reflections as the blue of the sky make the scene so attractive.Well done.

Bonjour Philip,
L'automne semble nous inspirer ! Ton image est très belle et les divers plans de la photo sont bien occupés : des feuilles mortes à la lignée d'arbres jaunis en passant par un reflet extrêmement net. Des couleurs saturées à souhait et un excellent cadrage qui place le rivage dans la diagonale.
