Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken in the Alhambra, at a room called the Mirador de Lindaraja. It's a close up of the marvellously detailed plaster carving, with the curly designs known as arabesques, dating from the 1300s. I could spend weeks here just looking at all the intricate design work. They don't build them like that anymore.
