Photographers Note
This 1925 vintage red caboose marks the beginning of the Withlacoochee State Trail.
The Florida Trail through Inverness is in flux, as the route is actively being shifted off the Withlacoochee State Trail and into the woods via Whispering Pines Park and the Withlacoochee State Forest. With little shade and little variance in scenery, this rail trail is better biked than hiked. At 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee State Trail is presently the longest paved rail trail in Florida. The corridor, one of the first purchased under the Florida Rails-to-Trails Program, was obtained in 1989. It consists of a former rail bed that has been converted into a multi-use recreational trail.

Hi Asa,
The corner view is allowing us to see the details and colors of two side of the caboose. It is clear and sharp. It is well framed. The luminosity is making the red colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hello Asa,
A bold presentation of a strikingly, vivid vehicle.
Wonderful sharpness to reveal the ribbed textures and the rusty wheels.
The angled, thirds composition works well.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

A fine catch of the red caboose, with good sharpness, framing & pov. The diffused light from the overcast conditions works well here. Tfs!

Ciao Asa,
grande colpo e grande occhio.
Immagine particolare con un fortissimo contrasto cromatico tra il rosso del vagone e ciò che lo circonda.
