Photographer’s Note
We had the pleasure of visiting Yellowstone National Park for the second time recently however this image was scanned from a slide taken 19 years ago on our first visit. I am going to make a slide show to music using Proshow Producer and I decided to mix in some of the shots from our first visit. I tried to clean up the grain in Neat Image but I did not like the results. So please excuse the grainy look to the sky.

Hi Phil.In Melbourne we were treated to a three part doco about Yellowstone. You are a lucky man to be able to visit this gem. Mind you, I found out watching the series that global warming is stressing the eco system there and what you see there now might not be there for the next generation. The colours are spectacular and the elongated format is respectful of the majesty of the place. Beautiful reflections, unusual in their streaky neatness. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Phil,
The light on the lake and the forest is very beautiful. First I thought I saw Autumn colours but the picture was taken in June.
Best regards, Paul

It looks like an evening shot and the colours are stunning, especially the colours reflected in the lake. The letter-box crop works very well.

Hi Phil,
Lovely fall image along the banks of this beautiful lake that catches some very nice reflections of the mountains.
I was there the same year in late June.
