Photographer’s Note
The most Westerly point on the Isle of Skye, giving excellent views over Moonen Bay to Waterstein Head and out over the Minch to the Western Isles.
The point is said to be the best place on Skye to see whales, dolphins and porpoises. The sea around the point is teeming with sea-birds including gannets, black guillemots, razorbills and shags. The lighthouse tower at it tip is 62 feet high and stands 142 feet above sea-level.

Bonsoir Stephen
Une magnifique lumière qui nous permet d'observer ces falaises qui nous conduisent tout droit vers le phare. Un cadrage réussi met en valeur tout cela.

A nice postcard of Skye island. You've been lucky with the weather, allowing you to exploit perfectly the clear and luminous atmosphere
The compo with these rocks at the FG leading the eye to the lighthouse is very plesant
Well done Stephen

Hi Stephen
a nice warm low light details the rocky aspect of the isle, and the landscape drives the eye to the lighthouse well located in your frame.
All the best

Hello,
Very nice seascape thanks to the end of day lightning and thanks to the efficient composition. The horizon is flat and provides a nice opening after we have followed the cliff from foreground.
The white lighthouse is the bonus to fix the look inside the composition.
Yves.

Hi Stephen,
a great POV and light management. The colours are so soft and warm, the sharpness excellent. The diagonal of the cliff gives te picture a great depth. TFS
