As a note I would like to offer my translation of the text of the poster at the entrance to canyon of Guamka (please see the additional image):

"Guamka’s canyon
WELCOME
to the unique natural monument!
The canyon "cuts through" Guamka mountain range
from North-West to South-East. The length of
Guamka’s canyon is approximately 3300 meters; and the level
difference between the canyon inlet and its outlet
is around 80 meters. In the middle part
of the canyon from the uppermost point of the range to the water level of
the Kurdzhips River, which flows along of the canyon bottom,
is more than 400 meters. In the narrowest place
the distance between the rocks is only 2 meters.
In 1934 along of Guamka’s canyon
a narrow-gage railroad has been built. It connects
two remote settlements,
village of Mezmay and hamlet of Guamka.

Dear visitors! For Your safety
we ask for keeping the rules of behavior
in Guamka’s canyon, according to which IT IS PROHIBITED:
• being in the canyon without a safety helmet and insurance
covered you in any accident (Order of the chief of administration of
Apshironsk Rayon municipal in Krasnodar Territory, # 348-r from 24.06.2005);
• visiting the canyon in a state of intoxication;
• for children under 12 being not escorted by adults;
• approaching close to the Kurdzhips River steep
(you may come down to the river bank only at established places);
• picking and digging plants;
• catching insects and animals;
• leaving behind any garbage;
• destroying the bed, relieving walls and the wedge of the narrow-gage railroad.

About the name of the canyon I would like to say the following. Actually the name should be "Guamskoe canyon", as its Russian name is "Guamskoe ushchelye". But the word "Guamskoe" can mean both "of Guam" and "of Guamka" (Guam’s and Guamka’s). I have chosen the name "canyon of Guamka" ("Guamka’s canyon") because neither Guam island nor GUAM organization are related to the canyon.
