Photographer’s Note

On the NSW south coast is a peaceful coastal lake - Burrill Lake. Near the mouth, where I took this photo under a threatening sky, it is more like a lagoon with a narrow, swampy bushy strip of land separating the lake from sea.
The 2 main types of trees in the photo are both water lovers - the bushy River Oaks (Casuarinas) on the right and the taller white paper barks (Melaleucas) in the background.
