Photographer’s Note

Komsomolsk (around 58000 residents) is an industrial city on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the southern part of Poltava Oblast of Ukraine. It was founded in 1960 as a settlement at the Poltava ore mining and processing enterprise. Its commercial and residential architecture is rather typical and uninteresting, but in the city’s central park it is not, mainly due to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (in the picture), which was built in 1994 with help of the enterprise mentioned above.

At this photo i like the great arhitecture from backgroud in contrast with those 2 swans. It's more great that you can catch a white swan and a black swan together. Great shot

I recognize that beautiful church. I think you have posted a picture of it before. The swans in the foreground and the raindrops hitting the surface of the water are great elements. Excellent point of view, sharpness and colours. Well done!

What a beautiful picture!
The vertical format and the pov were excellent choices here!
Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors are very good too!
The composition is the real highlight here, very effective with quite attractive and pleasant visual results!
The archictecture of that Cathedral is very interesting and beautiful! The presence of the swans and the reflection on the water surface added more beauty to this photograph!

La composition de cette photo est remarquable. J'aime ce premier plan avec les cygnes, puis les reflets dans la rivière qui reçoit la pluie et enfin cette belle cathédrale bleue qui s'élance vers le ciel.
