Photographer’s Note

If you go from Simferopol in South-East direction over villages of Strohonivka, Denisivka and Ivanivka, you will eventually get on Dolhorukivska Yayla (plateau, 700 – 800 m over sea level, 10 – 30 km from Simferopol), where there was a center of strong partisan resistance to the fascist occupation in the WW II years. In the picture you can see one of many communal graves of Crimean partisans.

Interesting note that explains to us the unusual architecture integrated to the landscape that we see in your photo.
The stormy day, with a threatening sky, the double rainbow and the cyclists with his raincoats of vivid colors create a very attractive image, in an executed well composition. A great work with the difficult light.

Hello Sergiy, Beautiful light & excellent detail, the rainbow is the main element here but those people I feel are important adding colour, interest & the human touch. The timing was perfect, a double rainbow, being over these graves makes it special.

I think this important document has deserved more attention. The main feature is the light, and especially these rainbows as a symbol of hope! They are incredibly beautiful above the monument. And you have chosen an excellent POV to create this attractive atmosphere. The visitors are also very welcome composition wise. TFS!
