Photographer’s Note
This is a photo that I could have posted under either Germany or France but I've included it under France as I took it whilst staying in Strasbourg.
It is a spectacular pedestrian bridge (especially with the bright blue sky) symbolising the new Europe linking Strasbourg with its German neighbour Kehl. Areas on either side that used to be customs posts have been turned into gardens. It makes a very pleasant walk between the 2 countries. To get back I caught a suburban Strasbourg bus (one of the routes links the 2 cities).
This will be my last posting from my recent travels in Morocco and Europe - back to Australia for my next postings.

Nice shot of this unusual bridge. It wasn't there when I was visiting Strasburg a couple of years ago when I was travelling down the Rhine with my boat. We had to cross into France using the old road bridge.
