Three TE years / Blue passion Photo

Photographer’s Note

With this photo I celebrate my third aniversary at TrekEarth. This third year was quite extreme for me: there were periods I spent nearly the whole day here, but I was also missing for a very long time. But I still like looking around here! As an encouragement for myself I upload this bluehour photo (my favourite time of the day!) from Colmar, a city that enchanted me.
Remarks are welcome!

Colmar is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in northeastern France.
It is the capital of the department. Colmar is also the seat of the highest jurisdiction in Alsace, the appellate court.
It is situated along the Alsatian Wine Route and considers itself to be the "Capital of Alsatian Wine" (capitale des vins d'Alsace).
Colmar is the center of the arrondissement of Colmar, which has 86,832 inhabitants.
Colmar is the home town of the painter and engraver Martin Schongauer and the sculptor Frédéric Bartholdi. The city is renowned for its well preserved old town, its numerous architectural landmarks and its museums, among which the Unterlinden Museum.

Hi Marci,
congratulations for your third anniversary on TE!!!
And a splendid capture at the blue hour to celebrate it.
Good framing catching the elegant architecture of this square and the fountain with the statue, with a very interesting lighting and a good chromatic level, and at the same time showing us the magnificent atmosphere of the terraces with the people enjoying a glass or an agreeable dinner.

good to have you around here marci... been to strasbourg but i guess colmar is so much better... lovely shot of course, i wish i was sitting there now, having red wine...

tehát ez is megvolt! Gratulálok a harmadik megkezdett évadod alkalmából. Szép perspektíváju esti kép sok részlettel.Talán egy hajszálnyit homályos de nem igazán zavaróan. Hoppá,most látom,hogy új játéxerrel ténykedtél. Gratula ehhez is.

Hi Marton, A lovely rich blue sky in this great night shot, the fountain is superbly positioned & the resterant offers a nice contrast, TFS, kind regards Wilson.
