The grasshopper is an insect of the suborder Caelifera in the order Orthoptera. To distinguish it from bush crickets or katydids, it is sometimes referred to as short-horned grasshoppers. Species that change colour and behaviour at high population densities are called locusts.

Great Grasshopper shot, Serghei congrats, the insects stars at the viewer and is ready to jump if you make a move. In Thailand they are deep fired and eaten, taste similar to french fries, but a bit more crispy. DOF is perfect by selecting F6.7 and the sharpness is great. Also the colors are vibrant - I like it - well done
