Photographer’s Note
On our waders along the Rhine we got off the ferry at the beautiful medieval village of Bacharach to explore and to have lunch.
The village has more than its share of good old timber framed buildings, some at odd angles. We came across this church with its good design and strong colours. In the background were a group of timber framed buildings and the sun even came out briefly for a photo and to keep us warm during an outdoor lunch(good food served along, of course with a glass of local Riesling)

Hello Ian,
The management of the light surprises by its effectiveness. The composition with the monument in the foreground is effective and gives depth to the village. The sky contributes to the attraction of the image. The realization is excellent. Cheer.
Have a nice evening.
Cordially.
