Photographer’s Note
When you visit the Rhine valley what do you elect for photos. I do like wine and especially a good Riesling. We stayed in the Rhine valley recently (at Boppard) and the weather was cold, wet and windy. We couldn't go up into the hills to walk so we had to stay with ferries and trains to explore the valley near Boppard.
So... my first photo from the Rhine features classic vineyards along the river - rows of vines above a classic Rhine village. The neat lines running up the hills added to the look.

Hello Ian,
I am a 'red' man myself, although can be tempted with the odd white :) Nice focus and DOF. The POV is interesting. Fantastic line of buildings along the Rhine. The bright red bouy adds character to the overall shot. Good shot. TFS.
Regards,
Graham.

Hello Ian,
very interesting, nice perspective (even with the inclusion of a red buoy (?) in the FG, which enlivens this beautiful view even more) :)
Well composed shot, good natural colorus, pleasant surroundings! I like it :)
Best wishes,
Elena

Hallo Ian!
Great, simply great! Rhine valley at its best! A typical sight which represents very well the "soul" of this wonderful region. I'll go there again next weekend
Greetings from much cooler Germany!
Autumn is knocking at the door...
