View towards Beli Photo

Photographer’s Note

Looking back to where my last posting came from.
You can see the few houses of Beli on the hill that are visible fropm the seaside and the houses around the harbour and the beach.
On the foreground a shrub with purple flowers we saw blooming everywhere and whose leaves had a strong resemblance with the leaves you can see in Amsterdam on the widows of many coffeeshops.

Hi Gerrit. Would that be tea leaves on the windows of coffee shops then?? ;-) Wonderful catch, very sunny and warm feeling. Well composed also, the purple bush makes good FG interest. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

great this panoramic shot from Croatia with a perfect combination of the greenery the beach and the rocks on the depth, to create a picturesque and pleasant scene.I like the saturated colour of the sea as the brilliant light of the day.Well done.

A nicely lit well framed composition. The point of view is well chosen taking in the sweeping perspective around te bay and the foreground flowers. The red roofs of the house add some nice splashes of colour.

A marvelous composition of the sea that has an incredible blue colour, this vegetation that has rich colour and an excellent point of view of the charming houses in the top of the hill. Congratulations.

You should have tried smoking them to confirm your suspicions! ;D
It is a beautiful scene and the 'suspect' bush provides a great role in adding depth, colour and more interest to the scene. Our eye naturally follows the contours round to the headland. The houses on the hill will have a terrific view.

Dit is zeker een van uw betere foto's uit uw gallerij, perfect samenstelling, ook schitterend van kleur en presentatie.
Amsterdam is steeds al een buitenbeentje van raam versiering, ik zou eens moeten terug gaan, maar de onveiligheid schrik mij een beetje af.

Hi Gerrit,
Excllent POV gives us a stunning view of this hillside village on the sea.
The colors are wonderfully clear with sharp details.
The foreground flowers make an excellent lead-in to this fine image.

Hi Gerrit,

Very nice view of the coastal line of Beli. You found a good angle with the flowers in the forground making the invitation and the dark blue of the water filling the right side. Good colors and lighting.

Some houses by the beach, some houses on the top but none in between hehehe!
A balanced seaside composition with vivid colours, in particular I notice the blue sea...
Good depth in the frame and the blue flower are pleasant!

belle carte postale de vacances hautement colorée. De la profondeur avec un arrière plan que l'on devine autant que l'on voit. Des couleurs fortes et agréables, impression de chaleur bien rendue.
