Photographer’s Note

This group of local Chinese Malaysians were in no hurry as they relaxed, chatted, swam and snoozed. The beach was all theirs, until a group of Malays turned up to play beach volleyball. The light was magical and gave everything a golden glow.

Very nice vacation picture, what a beach without a lot people.
Here in Belgium is almost no place for sit on the beach .
Very well composition and lovely colours too.

Malaysian Borneo i one of places I planned to visit, sea must be enjoyableas well as towns and natural parks.
This beach looks so quite , despite what you tell us.

Hello Klaudio,

This is definitely one of the spot worth visiting as you did, perhaps if you are a bit more energetic you could have consider trekking up Mt Santubong in the background. The warm evening light with minimal human activity on this beach makes this a stunning shot. If not because of the frequent presence of jelly fish, a swim in the warm water would be perfect.
